Description: For the past 12 years Karen Jacks has specialized in the form of sculptural work called "Assemblages", as well as being a freelance Graphic Designer. Assemblages are 3-dimensional arrangements of items such as wood, metal, paper, ceramics/castings, fabric, etc., and by nature have a recycling aspect that she is really drawn to. Her work has tended towards a love of antiques, science, mathematics, & metaphors. Register for a drawing and
meet the artist at our opening reception January 31th, 2008 from 5-7 PM, at Social Suppers, 3514 Clinton Parkway.
