Description: Paul Flinders' exhibition of mixed media works on paper will open on New Year's Day at the Olive. The town of Lawrence had its first glimpse of Paul's work at this past Red Balloon To Do. He says about his process, "I work more intuitively than analytically. If I plan a project to its exhausting detail, my work often loses its fresh quality and ends up in the trash." The piece that really caught our eye is one that pictures four little birds with incredibly long, spindly legs. The background is worked and rich. Paul has a delicate illustratorly quality about his work. His brothers, Micheal and Thomas, will debut in the Kids' Corner. Please join us for the Opening. The night will sound off with the musical guests Zach Newton and Andrew Bullington.
Olive hours of operation are:
11a.m.-8p.m. Monday-Saturday, 11a.m.-7p.m. Sunday (through January 16th). We will then resume regular hours 11a.m.-10p.m
