With one of the most important elections of our generation coming up, join the Dole Institute Fall Fellows, Nancy Dwight and Steve Hildebrand, for a look at Campaign 2012 from an insider's perspective.   Steve Hildebrand Hildebrand was President Barack Obama’s deputy national campaign manager during his 2008 campaign. He was involved in strategic decisions and helped craft the overall campaign. His career has included managing races in South Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota. He oversaw the Midwestern states for the Clinton-Gore re-election campaign in 1996 and served as political director of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in 1997-98.  He also served as campaign manager for Senator Tim Johnson's campaign in 2002 and Senator Tom Daschle's campaign in 2004.

Nancy Dwight Dwight is chairman of Dwight Partners, a consulting agency specializing in strategic communications and organization building for corporate, political and nonprofit clients. She has nearly 40 years of experience in professional politics and nonprofit leadership. She was executive director of the National Republican Congressional Committee in the 1980s and served on the Bush-Cheney steering committees in New Hampshire for the 2000 and 2004 campaigns and the Romney for President Committee in 2008.
