Opening May 10, Honeypot is a show from Walt Ohnesorge https://www.facebook.com/lwalto about currency, flow, and exchange. The show will exhibit local currencies, crypto-currencies, and banknotes from around the world. Many of these banknotes have been modified; In a process of exchange between local artists, the most seductive and repulsive qualities of each work have been extracted, as money has been blended with imagery ranging from the pornographic to the militaristic, mystic, and absurd.

Remember poggs? We'll have those too. Are you still confused about Bitcoin? You won't be after this show. If you've ever wondered what $100,000 of shredded money looks like, look no further. Have you ever rolled-up 50 Egyptian pounds to snort a line of gold? Well, now is your chance!

Walt Ohnesorge was born in 1986 and has spent most of his life in Lawrence Kansas. He received his MFA from San Francisco Art Institute in 2011, and is now the co-chair of the Lawrence Percolator.

Honeypot will be open weekends and will be the Percolator's May Final Friday show, May 30, open from 6-10 pm.
