The free state fly fishers will be having a tying night in the meeting room at Conroy's Pub in Lawrence.  This event is open to new fly fishing enthusists who wish to learn to tie flies or more seasoned fly tyers who want to learn a new pattern.  Wednesday's fly will be demonstrated by a club member and projected on a large screen TV to make learning easy and fun.  This isn't a serious hobby and anyone can learn to tie the weekly fly within 10-20 minutes.  Other flies may be added depending on the instructor's preference and the group that is tying.  Tying equipment, materials and guidance will be available, but please contact Martin Kollman to make sure we have enough.

Beverages and food are available from Conroy's Pub

Drink special

  • Wednesdays at Conroy's Pub: $2.75 single wells and $4.75 double wells
