Robert Ault received his MFA in art from Wichita State University in 1960, then joined the staff at Menningers in Topeka where he practiced art therapy for 32 years. A talented artist, he opened Ault’s Academy of Art in 1973, and also helped start the Art Therapy Association of America. This retrospective features work by the art therapy pioneer.
