The Western "Touch" Artistry of Julie A. Rice will be featured at the Lumberyard Arts Center, 718 High Street, Baldwin City, KS, July 18-August 9, 2014. The artist reception will be Saturday, July 26, 6p.m.-8p.m. during the Art Walk. The Center is open Tues.-Fri. 1p.m.-4p.m. and Saturday 9a.m.-noon.

Julie lives in McLouth with her husband Steve and their 4 young children. Using just her fingtertip, Julie "touches" ink pigment onto acid-free foam board panels to create these, one of a kind paintings, that capture the essence of the West.
