The pizza is great (when you are drunk) other than that it is terrible. The people working the pizza bothe must absolutely hate their jobs, because they give the worst service ever.

The Pizza place doesn't have anything to do with Fatso's. They just happen to share the same building. Who really cares about pizza when you're going out to drink, anyway? I think Fatso's kicks ass!

Who said bouncers are stupid?

I just wanted to let everybody know how impressed I am by Fatso’s bouncers’ ingenious ways of skimming money on the cover charge. When going there in December with several of my friends, three of us got charged one amount, later another three got charged another amount and, finally, the other 4 yet another amount. Good job mixing it up and keeping it interesting. Appreciate it. Especially the disdainful laughter you gave us when we asked what was going on. Respect. Well-done scam. You definitely got my vote when you worked your way to D.C.

I would like to see Otiel and the Peacemakers on the 28th of Feb. I live in Joplin, Mo. Do I need to buy my tickets in advance?

had terrible service on multiple occasions at fatso's. the bartenders are exceptionally rude, especially when they're busy. but the bar continues to get good bands so i still feel compelled to return. but the pyramid pizza rocks!

poor service and rude bartenders, but the bands that play there are awesome! and the pizza place that shares space with fatso's is the best and an always-welcome late night treat!

I don't know how this place thinks that it is "one of Lawrence's most dependable venues for solid music". In each of the past few years, six bars in the downtown area have each held considerably more shows than this so-called "live music headquarters" has.
