Absolutely THEEEE sandwhich shop in Lawrence. Great selection of hard-to-find cheeses too!

All kinds of meat, even proscuitto I think, so many breads, all that cheese, you can get any type of sandwich here for about $5 in about 5-10 minutes. Gets a little crowded around lunch, but one historical landmark in Lawrence everyone should check out.

While the menu is good, the build it yourself is even better!!! I work downtown and eat here at least twice a week... good meats and cheeses, fresh bread, and tasty toppings!! The service is good, and even though the wait is a little while, it's always worth the wait. I wish the prices were a little better, but the food is good enough that I don't have a problem paying.

Also, their cookies are quite good!
