These buffalo wings are wonderful! Great surroundings as well. With the foolproof "selfservice" pagers for order pickup, nothing is left to chance. The bar waitresses are handy and make frequent checks on patrons

Those things they are calling wings are nothing more than breaded chicken bones.
If you are calling yourself a wing grill then you probably should serve at least something that resmbles a chicken wing. I detected no meat only crispy overcooked chicken bones and sauce. A chicken laid down its life so that someone could sit and enjoy a football game while eating wings. Show a little respect and attempt to make a wing that chickens and consumers of wings can be proud of. I'm sure there are many willing and able arm chair quarterbacks ut there that could enlighten the cooks at Buffalo Wild Wings Grill on the finer points of making true Buffalo Wings.

Yes, the wings are decent and the rest of the food isn't bad either, but you can never get a waitress to get you anything. Half the time when you do ask them for something it takes them forever to get it to you anyway. On top of it, the light up pagers are supposed to prevent them from getting orders mixed up or the food being cold by the time it gets there but of course there are slip-ups at times. Twice when I've been there they have forgotten to turn on the pager when the food was ready, so the waitress walked around the entire bar before finding our table. It does have good atmosphere for watching the games though.

The worst thing a restraunt can do to me is close before they're supose to. And that was the case with this "wing place." I've been going there since they opened on mass and I've been to their K.C. stores. But when you say you close at 1:00 you don't F'n close at 12:45 that realy upsets some people! Until Lawrence gets a hooters I'll drive to the one on metcalf. Thanks anyway.

The food is about what you would expect the waiters/waitresses have always been great but that lady bartender is about worthless shes not that quick mentally or behind the bar and her personality sure doesnt make up any lost points this place is a winner except for the crabby bartender, shes not bad on the eyes but she certianly isnt good enough to get away with the crappy job she does.

Sometimes its impossible to tell exactly who your waitress/server is. I've found it much easier to walk up and get what I need myself.....The food is great, I love the atmosphere and the TV's.
I understand most days when its busy they forget, so its not the biggest thing in the world. If you have no beef with going up and asking for what you need instead of being waited on hand and foot....I'd say this may be your place.

Rock Chalk Baby! This is by far my most favorite venues when watching the Jayhawks. Decent service, great view of the games from just about every table in the establishment....gotta get their about 1 1/2 hours before the basketball games start as this place can get pretty crowded.
Wings are good...and the beer is never "skunkified". Overall one of the best sports bars in Lawrence.

Lots of TVs and nice atmosphere but dont expect any service or really hot food. The wings are cooked in huge batches and then sauced over and served cold. The service is the worst in town and they are usually down right rude. If you want wings go to Jeffersons. I have been to a few good Wild Wings in other towns but the one here is bad all the time. If you want a few beers and to watch a game then this place is fine, otherwise I would not suggest it and after the last time the waitress was so rude I havent gone back in a year. If you really want ther sauces go grab a bottle and make some food at home. The food is over priced and wings are very small. For better food and just as good a place to watch the game try JB Stouts or another place with lots of TVs.
