It's about time we got a good BBQ place to sit down and watch some good sports at the same time! This place will get our business.

Good service. That is all I can say. For BBQ I'm sorry that I believe that a good place to eat is about the food not a good place to watch sports. For being so close to KC it is sad that their BBQ is this quality. I've eaten there three times, because I understand BBQ can vary in quality terms based on many things, but Bigg's would be a good bar and grill, but their bbq is not good. Which is suprising considering they have ties to JB Stouts and that is one of my favorite places in Lawrence.

Drunkagain maybe you were drunk......the food @ Bigg's is by far the best BBQ in Lawrence for the taste and $

Maybe you didn't try the right stuff, pork and brisket are awesome...St. Louis ribs are perfect....beans blow the other Lawrence BBQ joints away! O-rings are huge! Smoked corbread is also awesome.

Try it again and sober up!

Great tv's but just not a place to watch sports, bartenders, managment, servers don't know what they are doing. BUT the kitchen does! Started getting takeout. Best BBQ in Lawrence.

Lawrence needs a place that takes care of sports fans!

This restaurant is going downhill fast! I've eaten here four times and it's gone from good to horrible in this time. The last time, the host was rude and acted like it was a big problem to seat us. Then the waitress messed up all three of my sides, then brought out them out cold with my warm potato salad being lukewarm (at best) with an icy middle-straight out of the microwave, but obivously not long enough! My beef brisket was cold, tough, stringy and dry. It is twice now that the brisket has been that way. Considering that it cost $10 for my meal, I won't be going back again. And not too surprising that there were only about 10 people in the whole restaurant besides us during the dinner rush. I can't see them staying in business much longer if they keep this up!

Bland food and bland sauce ( 3 types!)

While Quicks isn't awesome, it beats down Biggs in a big way.

The sandwich's are pretty expensive, and you have to pay extra for french fries -- by default they come with potato chips.

Oklahoma Joe's needs to get to Lawrence Quick!

I haven't been in for over a year...we used to go every so often, food varied, but we went as a group, so the choice was theirs.

Here's what got me. We had separate tickets. Our waitress...didn't bother to bring the coin change for the people who paid cash. She just took it upon herself to assume they wouldn't want it. Well, as most of the crowd was over 40 and she was early twenties...I hope she learned a lesson that night.

NO ONE at the table left her a tip. They made a joint decision that she had kept her own tip. Mind you, our group, some have worked in their early years in the service industry, and will often tip 20-25%, some of these folks make near 100K, or have retired easily. They weren't ordering cheap plates of food. If it was a new restaurant policy or something..no change to be given, it's a bad one! I don't remember what the total tab was for everyone, we did add it up that night, but she really screwed her self over. She had been a pretty bad waitress as I recall, we had a hard time getting things, water, drinks. Usual items seemed a hassle for her.

Biggs BBQ hot sauce is the best in town hand's down. Quick's, now gone, was ketchup like. Vermonts is unedible cocktail sauce tasting, and Buffalo Bob's is..........well, Buffalo Bob's.
Biggs has it right but the location is very bad. I would love to see them relocate and make it but that is not likely. I hope you guys keep it open with a lot of catering jobs, your food is the best BBQ in town.

I'm not a huge BBQ fan, but this place is fantastic! Better than Vermont Street BBQ. Love the smoked mac and cheese, and a great place to watch a football game. The location is bad (you can barely tell that the place is there from the street), but that doesn't affect the food or the excellent service. Two thumbs up!

I don't know who sells BBQ at Allen Fieldhouse but they are by far the best in town. Sauce too!

I felt the BBQ pulled pork was the best I've had in town. Plus, Bigg's has discount coupons in many of the common sources, so it can be a bargain if you find the right deal.

I don't expect to receive my brisket fresh from the smoker but at least make an attempt to try and fool me by reheating it correctly(just add a little water please it prevents that telltale reheated meat taste that veterans of bbq know and despise). My yardbird was tough my brisket probably tasted good at some point, however this was way before it reached my plate. My sides were unremarkable. Overall, I was left just wanting to try some real Q!

The decor is very unique, sports and rock. The portions are huge for the price, it's like getting 2 meals. Service is always good, and the sweet potato fries are the best!

My boyfriend and I go to Bigg's regularly because I'm a huge brisket fan. I love their sandwiches, the fries are "interesting" (and they just give them out for free, which is always awesome) and I especially love their baked apples as well. The only qualm I've ever had with this particular establishment is the service. Once they actually acknowledge us, everything is great, but it usually takes about 10 or 15 minutues for our waiter to get to our table to just take our drink order.
