Hello
I just discovered you zine while trying to find out what the Annniversary had been up to. I was delighted to find that you had the Sweet Marie video (which I didn't even know existed)- beauty! And then it got even better when I read how Roelof had mecome an idie-rock monk. This guy is right on, your article and audio clips is filled with amazing eternal wisdom and my mind is happily blown. I'm going to try and find Roelof's email too so I can tell him. But thank you for putting all that up, and please please leave the audio clips up for all to hear.
Thank you, way to kick butt

Thank you for the acknowledgment of our butt-kicking. We're glad you enjoyed the story of Roelof the Indie-Rock Monk (TM). For more amazing eternal wisdom, may we suggest you seek out the collected works of Thomas Chong and Cheech Marin? Their ideas are more challenging, but with The Monk as a primer, you should be ready for them in no time.

Since you apparently missed it, please go to the west (Rhode Island St.) side of the building and look above the door. There, I believe, you will find the inscription "Turnhalle," which is the German word for gymnasium. Issue a correction for the error in your article along with an apology to the early German settlers of Lawrence and their decendents for your ignorance of local history. I trust the rest of the article is better researched.

Is someone was to come up with the $85,000 would they become the owner or will Schuyler still be there managing the restaurant?

For 85 G's you could invest in something far more stable, like ferret ranching or the production of grommets. Or perhaps you'd care to underwrite a upstart weekly newspaper with moxy and hutzpah.
