Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Rating: R
Stars (out of 4): ***
Length: 1 hour, 52 minutes
Synopsis: For all of its seeming assembly-line predictability, "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" turns out to be a hilariously subversive take on manhood and romance in the 21st century. It also showcases a nervy, unflappable but ultimately sweet performance by Jason Segel that should turn the actor/co-writer into a star.

This reimagining of the superhero as a loathesome, foul-mouthed, often inept beast can't even be saved by Will Smith. For while, it seems as if the improbable storyline will somehow work. But then it devolves into the terrible movie you expect. And given the sailor-caliber swearing, how it earned a PG-13 rating is a mystery. Showtimes, review and more. Watch trailer.
