The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
Rating: PG
Stars (out of 4): **
Length: 2 hours, 20 minutes
Synopsis: With four main characters who are still a mystery and lots of arbitrary plot developments, the second film adaptation of C.S. Lewis' "The Chronicles of Narnia" series is more or less lost in translation. It boasts some nice VFX, but director Andrew Adamson still hasn't figured out how to make this classic story stand out among even the most generic fantasy films.

This reimagining of the superhero as a loathesome, foul-mouthed, often inept beast can't even be saved by Will Smith. For while, it seems as if the improbable storyline will somehow work. But then it devolves into the terrible movie you expect. And given the sailor-caliber swearing, how it earned a PG-13 rating is a mystery. Showtimes, review and more. Watch trailer.
