Get Smart
Rating: PG-13
Stars (out of 4): * 1/2
Length: 1 hour, 51 minutes
Synopsis: What began life on TV as a sitcom that cleverly satirized Cold War espionage has been transformed into just another standard action picture. Don't fault the casting of Steve Carell in the lead role. But he and Anne Hathaway as Agent 99 are just props in a series of increasingly elaborate, explosive scenarios.

The House Bunny
Essentially a female remake of "Revenge of the Nerds," 'The House Bunny" stars Anna Faris as a perky Playboy bunny who gets kicked out of Hef's mansion and becomes the house mother for a sorority full of misfits. Faris' sunny disposition and solid comic timing make the flick a lot more enjoyable than it ought to be. Showtimes, review and more. Watch trailer.
