Warner Bros. has revived this '80s "sword and sorcery" epic as a vehicle showing off the state of movie effects in 3D. This makes for a sometimes fun ride, a bastardization of Greek mythology with digital creatures. What hasn't improved is the silly, archetypal story, or the stagy arguments among the gods of Olympus.
