Puppets to appear at Lawrence library
The Clement McCrae Marionette and Puppet Co. will appear from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.
The puppet show will open with the marionettes performing circus tricks to music. The Kansas City-based company is known for performing in cabaret style in full view of audiences, but the puppeteers also use rod puppets and hand and mouth puppets worked from behind the stage.
