Pam blocks sex tape distribution
Pamela Anderson has settled a lawsuit over another sex tape she made with an '80s rocker, her lawyer said Wednesday. The porn company Internet Entertainment Group agreed to pay the actress and Bret Michaels, lead singer of the band Poison, a seven-figure sum and destroy all copies it acquired of a homemade sex video featuring the couple.
The Seattle-based company previously settled out of court with Anderson over a similar video it distributed showing her having sex with her ex-husband, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee. Both Anderson, 33, and Michaels, 38, filed $90 million lawsuits against the Internet company in 1998, claiming the sale of the video violated their privacy.

Limp Bizkit lead singer Fred Durst is going to be the father of a baby boy, saying he wants to "carry out the Durst legacy." Durst said in a message posted Wednesday on the band's Web site that the child's mother is a Minnesota woman he met last year during the Anger Management Tour.
"It happens, you know, and I believe I need a boy to carry out the Durst legacy," he said. "It was not planned but is still a blessing. I'm not getting married or anything like that, but I am going to support the child." Durst, who already has a daughter named Adriana in Florida, said he plans to name the boy Dallas. The baby is due in late August or early September.

Pavarotti bash aids refugees
Singers Tom Jones and Barry White performed under the stars Tuesday night in Modena, Italy, to help Luciano Pavarotti raise money for Afghanistan refugees. Actor Michael Douglas and wife Catherine Zeta-Jones led a list of celebrities that included designer Donatella Versace and musician George Benson. Jones lit up the crowd with his hit "Sex Bomb," while Pavarotti and White joined in a duet of "You're My First, My Last, My Everything."
Douglas kicked off the evening with an appeal for help for the Afghans, saying that if Pakistan could strain its resources to host hundreds of thousands of Afghan refugees, donors around the world should be able to help. Driven from their homes by the worst drought in memory and a relentless civil war, more than 200,000 Afghan refugees have arrived in Pakistan since September, officials said.
