Warm weather drew visitors to tour houses between the 600 and 700 blocks on Indiana Street as part of the Old West Lawrence Fall Homes Tour. Seven historic houses are showcased this year and are featured from noon to 4 p.m. today. The Ninth Street Baptist Church, built circa 1865, is only open from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door, and they may be purchased at Community Mercantile Co-op, any Dillons, both Hy-Vees and the Lawrence Visitor's Center.
