Exhibit marks Langston Hughes anniversary
Joplin � "Black Art: Ancestral Legacy," an exhibit of panels, posters, prints and educational material on African-American art and artists of the 20th century, will be on display through Feb. 10 at the George A. Spiva Center for the Arts, Third and Wall streets.
The exhibit is in conjunction with Joplin's city-wide celebration of the 100th birthday of poet Langston Hughes.
Gallery hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
