Lucas sued for libel
New York The producer of an animated pornographic movie has filed a $140 million lawsuit accusing "Star Wars" creator George Lucas of libel.
The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan's state Supreme Court, alleges that a spokeswoman for Lucas accused the producer of "Starballz" of creating pornographic cartoons aimed at children.
"Starballz" is an explicit sex parody of outer space adventure movies.
Media Market Group, the movie's producer, says the film is intended for adults only and will not be distributed to children.
The thrill is gone
London Hugh Grant may be one of Britain's most eligible bachelors, but he insists the dating game isn't as fun as it used to be.
The star of such films as "Four Weddings and a Funeral" and "Bridget Jones's Diary" told The Daily Telegraph newspaper that fame has robbed him of the thrill of the chase.
"When I was younger, the great excitement of pursuing women was the sense of seduction and romance and chase," Grant, 40, said. "But when you're a celebrity, you discover that you're no longer the pursuer, but the one being pursued.
"That's one of the disappointments I have had since becoming a single man."
Grant's 14-year relationship with Elizabeth Hurley ended in 2000.
Estefans win restraining order
Miami Singer Gloria Estefan and her husband, Emilio, obtained a permanent restraining order to keep a Venezuelan actor-singer away from them, their family, home, businesses and even their gym.
Juan Carlos Diaz, who faces trial for criminal trespass at the Estefans' estate, did not challenge the action making a temporary order permanent.
The judge banned contact with the Estefans in any way. The judge also barred Diaz from the Estefans' property, their 7-year-old daughter's school and the gym.
Diaz, 33, initially accused Emilio Estefan of making unwelcome sexual advances toward him at the gym. The Estefans sued Diaz for defamation and accused Diaz of stalking them.
