New York Filling a closet with 1 million pairs of shoes is an ambitious goal for any fashionista -- and it becomes a worthy goal when the closet belongs to Help USA, a provider of housing and services for the homeless.
Kenneth Cole is collecting gently worn shoes to donate to the New York-based charity for the 11th year. So far, with partner Tower Records, 800,000 pairs of shoes have been collected, and this year, the goal is to hit the 1 million mark.
Anyone who brings in a pair of shoes to any Kenneth Cole New York or Tower Records store by Feb. 17 will receive 20 percent off their next purchase from either retailer.
