'Sex' stars really do get along

New York -- Sarah Jessica Parker doesn't forget.

It has been two years since the New York Daily News quoted insiders who claimed Parker and her co-stars on HBO's "Sex and the City" had trouble getting along offscreen.

At last week's Manhattan premiere of the show's final season, which began Sunday night, the actress revisited the issue.

"You've been very hard on me over the years," lectured Parker, there with husband Matthew Broderick. "You indicted my professional reputation. ... It was one of the most painful things that ever happened to me."

"We're all very different people," said Cynthia Nixon, who shrugged off talk she has been the peacemaker. "But there's always been a lot of respect and camaraderie. Sarah and I were e-mailing each other before we came over here tonight. I said, 'Are you very sad?' She said, 'Yes, I'm very sad.'"

Kim Cattrall said she has absorbed Kristin Davis' and Nixon's characters into her own life: "I'll have a Charlotte morning and Miranda afternoon."

Elton John cleans house

London -- It might be the priciest tag sale of the century. Elton John is cleaning house and putting the overflowing contents of his Holland Park home on the auction block, reports E!Online.

Sotheby's later this year will sell off 11 years' worth of furniture and art accumulated by the pop star in his British residence. The sale is expected to raise $1.7 million.

Not that Elton needs the money. He just wants to make room for more stuff.

Ricky ready to be a dad

London -- Ricky Martin is nearly as famous for carefully guarding his private life as he is for those swinging hips and Latin pop tunes.

But the sexy singer has apparently put an end to the speculation about his personal relationships by confirming his on-off romance with his one-time love, Mexican TV presenter Rebecca de Alba, reports Hello! magazine.

After Ricky and the stunning blonde were spotted behaving amorously in Oslo earlier this month, the "Livin' La Vida Loca" star apparently presented Rebecca -- whom he reportedly dated on and off during the '90s -- to a local newspaper reporter as "my girlfriend."

"We met each other 14 years ago and right now we're very happy," he added.

Meanwhile, Ricky also remarked that he's looking forward to fatherhood.

"I'm feeling ready to start a family," he said, adding later: "It would be incredible to have a Ricky Martin Jr. -- I would be a great dad and I'd take the kids everywhere."
