In further efforts to get rid of the unwarranted "kiddie" image prominently associated with the company, Nintendo is sponsoring a nationwide tour with Evanescence, Cold, Revis, Cauterize, and Finger Eleven.
"Our culture today is about blending all the things that we love and living a seamless lifestyle," said George Harrison, senior vice president, marketing and corporate communications, Nintendo of America. "The Nintendo Fusion Tour perfectly mirrors that dynamic, merging music, gaming and culture into one experience."
Amy Lee, Evanescence front-woman echoes this idea, adding, "When we're on the road, we play music all night and Nintendo all day. This tour lets us bring two of our favorite things together."
The tour kicks off in LA and it is not known whether it will drop by Kansas City. For tour updates, visit the official site here.
