E.M.U. Theatre will have its second 10-minute play festival, "Face Down in a Pool of Your Own Monkeys," at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H.
Ten plays by Lawrence writers will be featured:
- "Rebels," by Joel Reavis, directed by Gwethalyn Williams
- "Got Milk?" by Pam Grout, directed by Ruth Gibson
- "Tribe," by Andrew Stowers, directed by Amber McIntosh
- "If Gold Rust," by Dean Bevan, directed by Ronald Willis
- "The Rat Gets the Cat" or "The Cheese Stands Alone," by Daniel Spurgin and Pam Grout, directed by Spurgin
- "The Painted Forest," written and directed by Claven Snow
- "If You Say So," by Jeff Sorrels and Rachel Goens, directed by Kevin Siess
- "Vegetable Garden," written and directed by Julie Unruh
- "Front Range," written and directed by Dave Chipman
- "Bite Hard," written and directed by Theresa Buchheister
