Scary Story Contest: Kevin Gill

While baby-sitting the new neighbors' children for the first time, Katie answered the phone. Katie said hello, but no one answered. So she hung up and went back to watching T.V. Katie was starting to notice that the kids were acting really funny.

"Ding dong," chimed the clock. Katie wakes up; it's 12:00 a.m. The children were nowhere to be found.

"Kids, where are you?" Katie screamed.

Katie ran upstairs with great speed. A long scream gave her goose bumps. Some fog filled the air. Katie looked outside one of the kid's window, which was opened. She thought she had seen a person or a zombie. Katie blinked and it was gone. She looked in the house for hours. Katie still couldn't find the children, so Katie called 911. The phone was dead. She totally flipped out. The phone ran (she thought but the phones dead) she slowly answered the phone with a quiet hello.

"You will die in one hour," Katie screamed. Katie looked at the clock. It was 1:04 a.m. "Who are you," Katie said frighteningly.

"I'm your worst nightmare," the voice said really loud. She hung up and ran down to her house, the door was locked. Katie dug around in her pockets for a minute or two. Her keys were not found. So she ran back to the neighbors and grabbed her bag. She was nearly out of breath, so she stopped for a second. Katie ran to her house she started up the stairs and fell and hit her head on the cement step. She died at 2:04 a.m. The kids and Kate were soon found the next morning. Katie was on the front step and the kids were in Katie's back yard dead. They think that Katie killed the kids then committed suicide, but they ruled that out early. They have no idea what happened that crazy night.
