Wheat State Pizza is growing beyond its Douglas County roots.
Wheat State, which started in Lawrence in June 2004 and expanded into Baldwin eight months ago, now has a third restaurant, this time in Overland Park.
The new place, at 8039 Santa Fe Drive in Overland Park, is part of an expansion plan that will continue with another three stores next year, said Ryan Murphy, Wheat State founder.
