Cabaret crooner Jolie Holland mixes piedmont blues guitar with brushed jazz drums and elastic vocals that hint at classic singers like Billie Holiday. A former member of The Be Good Tanyas, Holland tours with ensembles of veteran jazz musicians. Her subtle yet sensual voice enlivens her recent Anti Records effort "Springtime Can Kill You," which recalls Andrew Bird with its whimsical, freewheeling creativity. Holland joins Dave Dondero at 9 p.m. today at The Granada, 1020 Mass.
