What were you doing when scouted? Working on the three papers that I have due in the next two days.
What are your favorite stores? I like ATC, Wild Man Vintage, the sale rack at Urban Outfitters, TJ Maxx, and garage sales.
How would you describe your style? I think a little bit earthy, comfortable, and tailored.
Where do you get your hair cut? I used to get it cut at Static by Roxanne. but now my cousin, who is a hairdresser, cuts it in Topeka.
Favorite trends in fashion? I like sundresses and pencil skirts. On guys, I like cardigan sweaters and corduroy blazers.
Least favorite trends? I’m not a fan of loud graffiti and graphic T-shirts for guys, and I’m sick of khaki cargo pants and striped polos.
Favorite coffee shop? La Prima Tazza...I go there really often. I like it because of the variety of people that go there and the light atmosphere.
Favorite bar? I’ve had the most fun at the Tap Room because it’s a pure dance party.
What would you like to see more of in Lawrence? That’s hard, because I really like Lawrence. I guess I’d like to see more jazz music and a good Chinese restaurant.
What would you like to see less of? Big businesses on Iowa Street.
Who is your favorite local downtown character? The peace sign guy that hangs out at La Prima Tazza and smells like cigars.
Who are your fashion influences? I like a little Joni Mitchell and a little Meg Ryan in “You’ve Got Mail.”
Tell us a secret: I lost my backpack while I was in France on the train and had to have it shipped over to me. It took forever.
