What were you doing when scouted? Enjoying a beer and the lovely weather.
Favorite places? Blackbird Trading Post, Liberty Hall, Wild Territory, Wild Man Vintage, and TJ Maxx.
How would you describe your style? My style depends on my mood and the season, but I like to have a good mixture of components, eras, and textures.
Where do you get your hair cut? I used to go to Julie at the Fixx, but she moved. I need to find someone new.
Favorite trends? High-waisted stuff in general, plaid, neckties and bows, and gray. I'm also into oxford booties right now.
Least favorite? Guys wearing clothes that are too big for them, KU apparel, and people who don't look like they have fun getting dressed.
Favorite coffee shop? I like La Prima Tazza and Z's, because they're really consistent.
Favorite bar? I'm going to say The Replay and the Taproom for shows and DJs, The Pig for hanging out, and the Star Bar when I'm feeling fancy.
What would you like to see more of in Lawrence? A roller skating rink! I'd also like to see more biking and walking instead of driving, and more fashion risk takers.
What would you like to see less of? Pretentiousness
Who are your fashion influences? The Sartorialist, Maggie Gyllenhal's style in the movie "Secretary", and Wes Anderson movies.
People say I look like: an OIsen twin.
Why did you start a fashion blog? I'm really into fashion and read a lot of fashion blogs, and I also was a creative writing major. I wanted to combine those interests by promoting Kansas style.
Tell us a secret: I have a fixation with ears.
