How do you save money?

"I have a Kroger discount card which saves me tons and tons of money at Dillon's. I probably save the most on the excessively unhealthy snack foods and boxes of macaroni. Mmmmm-mono-sodium glutamate. Taking the bus is really helpful with gas. Cutting things out like cable and video games will save you money. Just go sit out in your back yard-that won't cost you anything. I definitely like to keep track of finances very closely, paycheck to paycheck. Budgeting is incredibly important. Another thing that helps me maintain my budget is that sometimes you can convince yourself you're not that hungry. I don't need to go to Taco Bell yet again. Staying in and cooking for yourself is a fantastic way to save."

How do you splurge?

"Repairing things in my house. Record needles always need to be replaced. I buy a lot of records. I need them, not want them. It's all for my DJ sets for myself in my basement. To treat myself, I really like to go out to fancy restaurants and spend a lot more than I need to-like $120 at Wa on sushi. Filling up your tank of gas is also a splurging kind of thing these days."
