How would you describe your style: A mix between classy and trashy.

Favorite trends: Recently I’ve been into tank tops. I also like old basketball jerseys, especially Michael Jordan jerseys. I have to buy his, ‘cause I live in Chicago now. I also like fitted clothes and the resurgence of ’90s fashion.

Least favorite trends: I’m over ’80s trends like excessive neon. I also don’t like sweatpants outside of the house on anyone.

What would you like to see more of in Lawrence: I’d like to see an expansion of the downtown area and more local businesses.

What would you like to see less of in Lawrence: Less corporations and less gentrification of the town.

Who are your fashion influences: The Velvet Underground, ’70s fashion and my Grandma. My Grandma loves to dance and wears leather, fur coats, and psychedelic stuff. She is very fashionable.

What do you want to be when you grow up: I’d like to bridge the gap between anthropology and the medical world and study the evolution of the human mind. Or I want to be an American Apparel model.

People say I look like: When I was younger, I got Tom Cruise a lot. People also have said I look like Christian Bale.

Tell us a secret: I have a weird obsession with eggs.

Shoes: Adidas Sambas, purchased at the mall last September for $33.

Shorts: Old Navy. They used to be a pants. I got them on sale for $15 and cut them into shorts in May.

Belt: It was a Christmas present about 5 years ago.

Shirt: Campus, purchased at Wildman Vintage for $3, last year.

Sunglasses: Ray Bans, a gift from my Grandma, last year.

Hair: My mom cuts it.
