Blue Orleans is (L to R): Mike Helton, Dave Learned, Paul Matthews, Bunny Rodina, Mike Roberts, and Vaughn Cowden.

The lineage that begat Blue Orleans includes ’80s and ‘90s staples like Baghdad Jones, Caribe, Common Ground, The L.A. Ramblers, and Blue Condition – bands that could pack The Bottleneck on any given Friday night. Now that most of the members have kids and mortgages, they’ve mellowed out a little bit. The band will perform Saturday evening at the Replay Lounge and August 5 at the Douglas County Fair.
