How would you describe your style? I try and look kind of sharp. My clothes are always well-fitting and I try to wear a lot of bright, bold colors.

Favorite trends? I like high-waisted jeans on girls, and slim-fit pants and drivers caps on guys.

Least favorite trends? I hate tapered jeans on women; they look like mom jeans. I also hate the whole baggy jean look, and I don’t think that most girls look very good in low-rise jeans.

Tattoos/piercings? I have a 18th & Vine tatoo and an Al Hirschfeld drawing on my forearm, a Harry Potter quote on my other arm, and the symbol for the Legend of Zelda on my hand. They were all done at Irezumi in Wesport by Bob.

Favorite Lawrence activity with the kids? We go to South Park a lot, and my daughter loves getting free stuff at the Farmer's Market and loves going to The Merc. The kids also like to go to our swing dancing classes with us.

What would you like to see more of in Lawrence? I’d like to see curbside recycling and more job opportunities.

What would you like to see less of in Lawrence? I’d like to see less students and dude bros.

Who are your fashion influences? David Bowie, Prince, Barack Obama, and Paul Meany of Mute Math

Favorite video game of all time? It’s a toss up between The Legend of Zelda and Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion.

People say I look like: Cameron from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Christopher Walken, and Nicholas Cage.

Tell us a secret: I’d love to be a world-class chef someday.

Shoes: Vans, purchased at Sharks during the sidewalk sale for $30.

Jeans: Levis, purchased at Urban Outfitters, 1 year ago for $30.

Belt: Urban Outfitters, 2 years ago for $10.

"What would you like to see less of in Lawrence? I’d like to see less students and dude bros." This is almost as idiotic as people who say they would like to see fewer people wearing KU sports clothing around town. Do all these super-awesome trendy folk realize they live in a college town?
