Shoes: Purchased at Mark Shale on the Plaza about a year ago. Price unknown. Pants/jacket: Jack Henry, purchased about 6 months ago. My dad used to shop there, and he has great style. Price undisclosed. Tie: My friend picked it out for me, and I did the half-windsor knot myself. I don’t know how much it cost. Shirt: Jack Henry. I've had it for about 6 months, and I can't remember how much it cost.

What were you doing when scouted? Having drinks at Pachamamas with friends and neighbors.

Favorite places in Lawrence? Weaver's basement, Sunflower, Free State, Vagabond Bookstore, Global Cafe, Wheatfields, Cottin's Hardware, my shop in my backyard, and Slimmers.

My fashion philosophy is... Shorts are a decision, not a purpose. You have to decide what pants to cut off into shorts. I am a fan of custom Vans and spandex when I ride my bike.

Favorite environmental trend? Renewable energy standards.

You work in Kansas City, why do you like living in Lawrence? I like the small town vibe and the feeling of community. I think there is a great network of people in Lawrence.

Favorite bar? I would have to say Free State. They have the best beer on the planet, hands down.

What would you like to see more of in Lawrence? Bikes in general, and a grocery store in North Lawrence.

What would you like to see less of in Lawrence? Cats, North Lawrence mosquitos, and the same thing.

Who are your fashion influences? My father and my friends are my biggest influences.

Tell us a secret: Love what you do.
