Inspired by a Daily Dose dealing with Illustrated Missed Connections, we launched a feature dealing with the lonely hearts in our own back yard. And so, combing through that yard sale of broken dreams and soiled furniture known as Lawrence Craigslist, we present to you Lonely in Larry. It's a collection of the cryptic, baffling, depressing, inspiring and downright romantic missives from Missed Connections. And who knows? Between the laughter and the tears (mostly laughter), we might just help to facilitate an Un-missed Connection. Caught Connection? Romance Re-do? Love Mulligan? Whatever.
All of today's missed connections have one thing in common...fuel. No, not symbolic fuel for the internal combustion engine of our hearts, but actual fossil fuels for your Ford Festiva. Maybe it's the diesel fumes, but everyone seems to get randy at the gas station. Here's a few examples of unrequited love at the Kum 'n Go that's more "go" than "kum." Hopefully these guys didn't have to end their evening with self service.
