Currently reading: : "Pronoia is the Antidote for Paranoia: How the world is conspiring to shower you with blessings" by Rob Brezsny
“It’s about feeling full of love, and mischief, and chaos and peace all at the same time. It acknowledges that 'truth and beauty' is an overused term but that it’s still cool to seek it, for yourself, in real ways. It’s reaffirmed that the world has blessed me with honest-to-goodness, stone cold, motherf*cking friends for life. And I’ve got hands and eyes! That’s always a blessing. It’s not so much a ‘self help’ kind of book as it is a ‘love the world and still be a rascal’ kind of book. It’s full of affirmations, encouragement, pep-talks, wacko/divine insights, etc.”

Book everyone should read: “Hannah is a Palindrome" by Mindy Warshaw Skulsky

“Maybe everyone should re-read the last card a loved one sent them in the mail, and then they should write them back and send it in the real mail, postal-y. That’s good reading right? And inspiring and loving? But if I have to pick a book, well, 'Hannah is a Palindrome' was a favorite of mine when I was littler.”

I'm going to pick up Pronoia because of Natalie's praise for the book. Hey Ms. Dye, want to lovingly lend me your copy?
