The story of Sutton’s family Bible is one of faith and fate. A family reunion on his mother’s side got him thinking about genealogy, and when he got home, he began poking around on the Internet for information. While piecing together his family tree he came across a Bible on eBay that happened to have his family members’ names inside. So, with the help of his son, Sutton procured the Bible with a last-minute bid from the seller — a man claiming to have found it at a garage sale in Ohio. The only other thing he’d ever bought on eBay? His home’s wood flooring.
