The fourth annual Festy Fest did indeed happen last weekend, despite organizer's failure to secure a county permit.
Attendance was well below the 1,200 that organizers were hoping for, perhaps in part due to an article that said the festival had been canceled. Organizer Justin Falleaf declined to comment about his thoughts on this year's festival.
Approximately 300 to 400 people attended Saturday, which featured the bluegrass festival's main acts, including Mountain Sprout and Split Lip Rayfield. A few videos from the evening are posted herein for posterity:
