The Clinton Parkway Hy-Vee is offering a cooking class for kids from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29.
The theme: Pumpkins!
The class is for children between the ages of 5 and 12. They will learn basic measuring skills, how to follow a recipe and how to use an electric skillet. Hy-Vee asks that an adult accompany their children to the class.
The kids will be making pancakes, smoothies and other treats in the club room at the Hy-Vee store located at 3504 Clinton Parkway.
The cost is $3 per child.
