The Kansas Audio-Reader Network, a reading service for people who are blind or unable to read standard print, is participating in Read Across Lawrence by airing the featured book on the Audio-Reader Network.
Readings of “Winter’s Bone,” by Daniel Woodrell, will air at 9 p.m. Friday through Sept. 27. Qualified individuals can access programming from Audio-Reader through special closed-circuit radios, on the Internet and through Lions Telephone Reader.
The Audio-Reader website is reader.ku.edu, and the office number is 864-4600.
