An upcoming wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres fundraiser planned by Lawrence’s Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club will benefit Van Go Inc.
The event is planned for 7 p.m. Feb. 22 at Van Go, 715 New Jersey St. Tickets are $25 each and should be purchased by Friday online at memberplanet.com/LawrenceKSAlumnaeClub/lawrencepibetaphiannualwinetasting. Additional donations to Van Go are welcome.
In addition to Van Go — an arts-based service agency providing after-school and summer job-training programs to high-need and underserved youth — the club will make a donation to the Pi Beta Phi Foundation in support of its national philanthropic efforts to end illiteracy.
