A little rain

There is just SO. MUCH. Going on this weekend — make sure you get through the whole calendar so you don't miss your favorite holiday event! The weather shouldn't interfere too much: Today's high is 48 with clouds and periods of rain. The low will be 35 degrees and the rain will decrease. Saturday's high and low: 43 and 31 respectively, with cloudy skies. Sunday will be just a bit warmer, with clouds and a high of 47, low of 34.

Extra coating

If you know someone in need, help keep them warm this winter with an extra layer! Scotch Fabric Care and the Salvation Army will be having their 28th Annual coat giveaway today. The Share the Warmth Coat Distribution is from 9 a.m. to noon today in Suite 104 of the I-70 Business Center, 1035 N. Third St., North Lawrence.
