Mateo’s mom: He’s his own person. He’s the one that decided on the plaid. That’s all he wears: button-down shirts and pants. He can’t wear hats to school but he likes them and has a bunch.

What would you like to see more or less of in Lawrence? I think Lawrence is fine now. I don’t think it needs any improvement. Oh! More restaurants and bookstores! I like fantasy and mystery books.

Whom do people say you look like? No (one) … that I can remember.

Mom: I say he’s a little old man in a 10-year-old body!

What type of music do you like? Well, I kinda like jazz. I like to play the saxophone. I like a little bit of classical, too.
