Today's weather will be windy with a few clouds, and high temperature is expected to be about 42 degrees — a little cooler than the 50-degree days we've had lately. Winds will be west-northwest at 20 to 30 mph. The low overnight will be 22 degrees.
Comic relief
Come to Wonder Fair for an evening with comic book legend John Porcellino. Wonder Fair is honored to host this second appearance of Porcellino in support of his new graphic novel, 'The Hospital Suite'. There will also be a screening of the new documentary 'Root Hog or Die,' directed by Dan Stafford. Stafford's film follows John, his long-time friend and colleague, who has self-published King-Cat Comics and Stories for 25 years. An Evening with John Porcellino is at 7 p.m. at Wonder Fair, 803 1/2 Massachusetts St.
Musical options
There are two performances to choose from tonight if you'd like to fill your evening with music. The KU Symphony Orchestra performs at 7:30 p.m. at the Lied Center, 1600 Stewart Drive. The Baker University Percussion Ensemble Concert is at 7:30 p.m. at McKibbin Recital Hall, Owens Musical Arts Building, 408 Eighth St. in Baldwin City.
