An old lumberyard built in 1914 in downtown Baldwin is in the
process of being transformed into an arts, cultural and social
center called the Lumberyard Arts Center. Sandy Cardens, upper
left, is coordinating the project at 718 High St. "We like the idea
of having this space as a unique gathering place for the
community," she said.
