From left, Rob Parker-Ortley, 16, Anna Taylor, 14, and Sarina Farb, 15, all members of the Lawrence Youth Ensemble, rehearse a scene from “John Brown,” one of the skits from their original play, “Home on the Road,” in Watson Park. The ensemble will give three performances in parks around town Friday through Sunday. The nine-member cast wrote the play, a series of vignettes about Lawrence.
