Lawrence native D.J. Watkins, founder of the Gonzo Gallery in Aspen, Colo., and author of "Freak Power," organizes framed pieces of memorabilia from famed journalist Hunter S. Thompson's run for sheriff of Pitkin County, Colo., Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 at the Lawrence Arts Center. The show opens Sept. 25.
