Kirk Rundstrom (far right) was diagnosed with cancer late last year and his initial doctor gave him two months to live. He's since gone off chemotherapy and is cutting his morphine doses by employing acupuncture and other alternative treatments. His local punk grass band, Split Lip Rayfield - with (from left) Eric Mardis, Jeff Eaton and Wayne Gottstine - plays several area shows starting next week. (Note: this photo was taken before Rundstrom started chemo - he had just shaved his head.)
