Come and go at your leisure to our country studio and make something unique with clay! Fee: $7, item. Includes all materials and instruction. Allow about an hour to create your work. Questions? Our work space includes a gallery of ceramic work that we sell at a 20% commission. Since it is located in the studio there will be a constant flow of new people who already have an interest in ceramics to see your work (and as students can appreciate it!). If you are interested in having your work for sale in the gallery call Retta Hendricks-Backus at 785-843-5568. If you would like to be invited to the next open house/barn party then please indicate that to us in your correspondence.

Directions from Lawrence: Take Iowa south past Target. After you pass the last traffic light in town (Iowa has turned to HWY 59 So.), you will immediately cross the Wakarusa River. Take the first right after you cross the bridge onto HWY 458 (going west). Go one mile to E. 1200 Rd.. It looks like a blue street sign. Take a left on E. 1200 and then take the 2nd driveway on your right, 1157 E. 1200 Rd.
